Start at grind setting 15 for a medium roast. Finer is a lower number.
Where to start
- Light roast: grind setting 13. Medium: grind setting 15. Dark: grind setting 17.
- The dial: 1 to 30 (grind setting).
- One small step: 1 grind setting.
- If shots still run fast at setting 1, move the upper burr one number finer (manual: "Adjusting conical burrs").
