How to play
- Press and hold the button (or hold Space or Enter) to start the shot. The timer and the scale run while you hold. Release to stop.
- Each round has a target weight, and the shot should take 25 to 30 seconds.
- The grind setting is a hint about how fast the coffee will flow: a finer grind runs slower, a coarser grind runs faster. It is only a hint, so watch the scale.
- A little coffee keeps dripping after you stop, so the final weight is a bit more than the scale showed when you let go.
- Scoring: up to 60 points for landing within 1 g of the target weight, and up to 40 for finishing inside the time window. Points fade out the further you miss.
- Some grind settings make it hard to hit both. Getting as close as you can on each round is the game.
This game is about brewing technique only. The numbers are a puzzle, not a recommendation for your machine or beans. On a phone, the page will not scroll while you hold the button.
