Eureka Mignon (Specialita, Silenzio, Notte, Manuale…): espresso grind setting
Start three whole numbers coarser than your zero (Clive Coffee's method), then dial in from there. Finer is the knob clockwise, with the motor running.
Where to start
- One small step: 1 dial mark.
- Zero point: Find zero first: grinder empty and running, turn finer until the burrs just chirp, then back off until silent. That point is your zero; dial numbers differ between units.
- Dial numbers are not comparable between Mignons, so note your own once a shot tastes good.
