Lelit Elizabeth (PL92T): your first espresso shot
Start with 16 g of coffee in and 32 g in the cup (1:2) for a medium roast. The grind number depends on your grinder: find yours below, then taste and adjust.
The recipe
- Dose: 16 g (Lelit rates the 2-dose filter 14 to 18 g and suggests 14 g for two cups; 16 g, mid-range, is our pick).
- Stop at: 32 g in the cup (1:2) for a medium roast, 40 g for a light roast. Set the button's brewing time to OFF, then press the same coffee button again when the scale reads your target weight. With a brewing time programmed, it stops by the clock instead.
- Temperature: Temperature: 92 °C. LCC: press − to enter the menu, + to change the value; the coffee boiler goes from 80 to 110 °C.
- Pre-infusion: Programmable per coffee button, 1 to 20 s (OFF disables it): the puck is wetted without pump pressure, then the pump starts at full pressure. Not available with the steam boiler switched off.
Where to start on your grinder
